Arizona Early Music Seeks Part-Time Executive Director
Arizona Early Music seeks a qualified individual to fill a part-time position as Executive Director. In consultation and collaboration with the Board of Directors, this individual will be responsible for leading the organization, implementing its goals, managing its administrative functions, and articulating its vision through public communications, marketing, and fundraising. This position reports to the President of the Board of Directors.
Now entering its 40th season, The Arizona Early Music (AEM) is dedicated to enriching contemporary life with music from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods. Bringing the finest professional musicians from around the world to Southern Arizona, AEM presents this vibrant music both in concerts and through educational outreach programs. Each season consists of five to seven live performances.
This part-time position is for an independent contractor. Workflow may be uneven throughout the year depending on the concert calendar, although significant effort will be required at the start. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The Executive Director is responsible for leading the organization in terms of finance, development, marketing, and administration. Operational or administrative functions may be handled by volunteers or other contractors, with oversight by the Executive Director.
